A Woven Communion is an interactive, personalized exploration of healing through public vulnerability. It highlights a series of tapestries utilizing deconstructed and reformed clothing items, representing the emotional transformation that occurs in the growth and recovery process following sexual and emotional traumas. Each viewer is invited to share their story in writing and leave it in the space. In turn they can take another story, quote, or poem. By way of community exchange, a space for support and honesty is formed. This experience is time limited for each viewer in order to maintain a safe and intimate environment.
